Microsoft Breach Highlights Potential Security Threats to Cloud Computing


Last week, Microsoft informed all of its cloud-based Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS) customers of a limited breach in its security. A configuration error temporarily allowed unauthorized access to customers' offline address books. Only a small number of illegal downloads occurred and Microsoft is working directly with those affected to remedy the situation.
